Thomas joined the Melbourne Patents Team in 2023 after completing his Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, specialising in advanced Manufacturing and Mechatronics. During his Honours, he worked on producing and analysing the viability of injection moulded microfluidic devices. While studying, Thomas was President of the Mechatronics Student Association which he cofounded. The knowledge and skills gained in his double degree gives Thomas the ability to advise in relation to a range of mechanical, electrical and advanced manufacturing technologies.

Outside of work, Thomas enjoys playing volleyball, running, photography and picking up a handful of hobbies such as pottery and blacksmithing.
