About Shaun
Shaun is an Associate in the Hamilton Trade Marks team. Shaun also works in the Asia Division. He specialises in advising clients from a wide range of industries regarding the availability, protection and maintenance of their brands in New Zealand and overseas. He is bilingual in Mandarin and English, and also speaks a little Korean.
Outside of the office, Shaun enjoys travelling, playing golf and hiking the great trails of New Zealand.
Experience
Shaun joined James & Wells in June 2018. Prior to this, Shaun completed his Bachelor of Laws at the University of Otago and professionals at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies in 2017. Before this, Shaun spent six years travelling around China and South Korea teaching English in schools while studying the respective languages of both countries.
Shaun also worked in the import/export industry in China in 2014 before returning to New Zealand in 2015 to begin his legal studies.
